Want to be a member of fermentorskab? You can join our weekly gatherings and gain a network to help you explore fermentation.

If you want to get involved in our activities, or if you simply want to support our group, then you can become a member of Fermentorskab!

The membership fee of 200 kr per year covers our basic equipment and ingredients (sugar, tea, cabbage, etc) used in our weekly gatherings where we make kombucha and according to interest try making various other ferments (for example kimchi, vinegar, ginger beer and peaso).


Can I check it out first?

Of course! We want our gatherings to be accessible, so you are welcome to join 3 gatherings to see if it is a group for you.


Already a member but want to be more involved in the group?

This is a volunteer group and you are welcome to get involved join in many different ways, offering your unique gifts. Our hope is that Fermentorskab is a community in which you can explore the activities that interest you with the support of others. hosting activities (on weeks you choose)

developing curriculum and/or facilitating workshops (series) that helps people learn specific ferments

-keeping track of ingredients (salt, sugar, tea) stock and organisation

gardening ingredients

decorating our space (sound insulation, making signs, putting up a shelf)

-Writing content, for example

  • collection of resources/links to fb groups and articles and books where people can learn about fermentation
  • Sterilisation methods
  • Study what collaborative learning methods we could try in our group
  • Personal blogs / your own thoughts about fermentation

-making social media content (Video tutorials about fermentation, videos of gatherings, photos of kitchens, quotes)

-making graphics/layout for informational materials like recipe booklets

-making starter kits / acquiring second-hand jars, keeping track of inventory

-making fermentation libraries (acquiring and filling cupboard with starters, decorating it with info)

-applying for funding (crowdfunding campaign, EU funds etc)
